HHG and a bit more

Biel, Switzerland(Zone 7a)

Here is a photo of my HHG before I cut that extra part away.It took up half of the pot!At first I thought it was new shoots, but when I tried to cut it out, well that's a horse of a different color. Thanks Monika for the tip,and glad to see you back.

What is it?

I'm wondering too.

Ditto?

Poppysue, there was a thread about this that Tonny wrote months ago,and Monika said it reduces growth,so it had to go.http://davesgarden.com/t/305730/quinde
It was bad enough when it dropped its buds for the third time, but I would like to try to get it to flower next year..maybe,lol.I need Ludgers' secret,or Monikas'.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I hope Dee sees this, she had a brug that she brought me to look at, it had the same thing. I told her there was something Monika said about it earlier, about it being the dwarfing stuff.(don't you love that technical stuff??)

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

I love it when weird stuff like that happens! I've got a strange compact growth on my Vulcanicola 'Vulcanstaub' but i'm leaving it on cause it's really interesting! Although it might use up some of the nourishment, that could be going to the normal branches instead, it appears not to do any harm at all!
