Very pretty. This is why I'm hesitant to toss any whites. The flowers look nice & big on it - and I imagine it's fragrant? Is this a first year seedling?

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

poppysue, they are actually quite short, longish tendrils. i love the way the calyx hangs off the stalks. nice fragrance, strong but not overwhelming like some.

Beautiful flower Arlene. I really like the shape. So glad that you are having lots of blooms. I must get busy and post some of mine.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

this is one i got from eric last summer, didn't bloom last year, had buds when the frost came. the leaves try to be fuzzy but it's in a lot of sun. i'm not sure bruno about the smooth calyx, what you mean for sure. it's been a good bloomer for me, tig got a cutting and hers has bloomed. i put pollen from this on maya, go figure! sometimes i put pollen on the wierdest stuff, not sure why!
