hoping, not to praise it to much before the day is over.
I tried to repair the damaged files with the Setup CD. It worked and at least, i am able to post and write again online, but I probably must de- and install the whole program again in the near future, because of three files, which could not be loaded and repaired. I dont know, if and in which way this might affect the performance. During my search, I deinstalled a CapiPort driver of the ISDN - Netbox bis mistake, hitting the wrong button. Here, I need the help of aol. I am still not finished but happy, that the repair try worked.

You know, sometimes its just a reflex pushing the wrong buttons, even if you dont want to. These delete buttons seem to be like a magnet, I think, they love me, LOL!
So far, we had only snow flurries, but this morning, they are warning, snow and ice from 500m altitude upwards and we are above this. Snow is in the forcast for the weekend, so I guess, winter is here.
In the last three days, we were watching wild goose and Kraniche (dont know the english word) coming from scandinavia flying into their winterquarters. Hearing their calls makes me very sentimental. It means, winter is close by!
Here in our area, some towns turn their night lumination off so the birds have a safe flight. Two years ago,many got killed, irritated by the lights, crashing against housewalls, when they tried to land.
