Wednesday, November 6th

I am so pleased to see so many unGODly strongholds toppled across our nation. I also pray fervently that the Republicans who won will fully realize that it is primarily the Evangelical Christians who have put them in office and that they have a mandate from us and GOD to pass laws that will help to turn this country around and headed back toward the GODly ways of our Founding Fathers. I'm sure they would be appalled if they were to come back to life and see the immorality which is so rampant today in this country.
It's nippy out today but the sun is shining brightly so it should warm up at least a little bit later in the day. We nearly always see evidence of frost in the mornings nowadays.
My right heel is hurting again this morning after a whole day of very little discomfort yesterday. But it still isn't as bad as it was for over 10 days. I had to practice walking without a limp yesterday. I had done it for so long I had forgotten how to walk normally. I haven't taken anything for pain yet this morning tho so maybe today will be more like yesterday after I do that.
Darcy is doing much better with being housebroken. If we give her and the others a potty break late at night just before Shad and I go to bed and get them all outside early in the morning instead of making them wait until 8 a.m. or later she does really well. She is turning into a good size standard Beagle. Needs to fill out but that won't happen until she stops running and playing off every calorie we give her and then some. At this point there is very little chance of her becoming fat. She is often refered to as the ABomb, Dymomite, WhirlWind, Chewy, Holy Terrorizor, etc. which lets you know a bit about her behavior. In the yard she looks like she is running the Indy 500 and in first place all the way!
Has anyone else started Christmas shopping yet? Anyone else shop all year? I do both to some degree or another. I've already gotten several gifts and am going to put more on layaway today I think. One grandson just wants a couple batches of peanut butter fudge all for himself. It's ok, because he is about as big around as a toothpick and eats like that frequently.
Shad and I finally got some big boxes of out of season clothes and extra pillows to the attic yesterday. That is a relief because we were tired of them sitting in the living room.
