This is for Kell, you can see how wilted the tops of the brugs are from the frost. They are still blooming but the very tops are so wilted now. Dee took more pics, hope she will post them soon.
Frost on the Brugs

Oh, poor babies. Was it a hard frost or will you continue to get bloom from them. We had snow this morning. I could have made a few snowballs, but now it is gone. Whew!!

garden is very lovely.
Dee took a bunch of them to sunny Florida where they will get to grow some more this year. The ones in the yard still have buds. After we get a hard frost, we usually have a few weeks of warm weather.
Still a beautiful garden even with a little wilt. It is amazing what one night of frost can do.

I was trying to get the frost to show up on the leaves but didn't come out too good.

Susie, just wish I had more room to bring them all. I hated leaving them behind. I feel guilty, like they are looking at me with those little puppy eyes.

I bet I would be in trouble if I were a brug in Cala's beautiful yard. For no doubt I would be a Frosty, blooming a common pale pink and saying PLEASE PLEASE PICK ME CALA PICK ME I HATE THE COLD I AM AFRAID and she would take the shovel and ..................

Aw Kell, I always bring at least one Frosty inside. Frostys are very popular with garden centers because they are good bloomers!! The ones I don't bring inside take their chances with the winter, most come back in the spring. I always feel sorry for them and put mulch on them.
and to finish my thougnt............she (Cala) would take the shovel and .................dig me up and bring me inside the Jungle House and feed me homemade chocolate chip cookies that really were made from toasted queen ants and plant me up into a nice huge pot.
LOL I bet you thought she took the shovel and did some dumpster feeding...........but you forgot Cala has such a softie heart! LOL

You know what's really spooky? When you get really, really bored - I mean really bored - try doing a google images search under your name - I almost fell off my chair when I found a picture of myself on the web.
