I have 4 or 5 that are 9' tall, cut back as far as I wanted them, there are seedpods on the ends. I brought them into the greenroom, there is about 2-3" headroom on them. I have a metal halide light in the center, and we're putting grow lights over the tables. Now I realize that althought those are in a dark corner, like I wanted, they will start to lean towards the MH light in the center. Now I could hang a drape and totally put them in the dark, but they all have smaller plants in and around them. If I put a 'grow' light in the very corner, it might give them enough cause not to lean, but will they grow over the winter??? cause there is NO room for some of them to grow. What would you do? (providing that this made any sense:)
I think I goofed
send them to me:)
I wish I could help you tiG, but I know nothing!!! I am sure Monika knows. I just read a post from Brugie that said she can read posts but can't post herself. Maybe she will read this and email Brugie or Jeanne with the answer for you.
can you fit another lite over them?
it will be right over them
Tig, for geting ripe the pods you donīt need to keep the Brugs growing in strong light.
Very small seedpods the plant will not get ( become ) ripe, but larger pods will become ripe with just some light.
In Zone 7b daylight is OK for becoming ripe.
Today I harvested some Avalon and Mayapods. I have the brugs indoor for about 4 weeks.

so if I have some of the seedpods that are small and I want them, I need to keep the light as for growing, correct? may have to lower the floor:)
Not really growing......itīs difficult to explain.
The brug needs some light to keep some healthy leaves.
It donīt need so much light to grow new twigs and flowers.
I have a pink candida with some pods at window in bedroom, she lost much leaves because the light on window is not very bright. I water this Brug a little more than sleeping brugs and sheīs keeping the pods and the pods are becoming larger.
Puh....hope Monika will explain it better..........
Itīs too late to phone her now, lol.

tiG, I have LOTS of room in my greenhouse.........:>) Plus, it's 12 feet to the top of the roof. More than ample growing room.
hehe, thanks Anna!!
