This shows a little of the rock wall that I worked on this year. I made it taller and extended the bed at the top. I have Pansys and spring bulbs planted up there.
Another view of my Shade.
Love your rock wall! Looks like you put a lot of time in. Send us a pic in spring.
Thanks. I worked on the wall again last Sat. Put some thin stones on top to even out that sag! I AM looking forward to the spring bulbs blooming. I will try to get pictures!
Lovely! I'm a 'rock hound' can't go anywhere without gathering rocks.
Doris, I love your shady yard!
Doris,
I love your garden! What direction does it face? Please, send more pictures.
This is wonderful. I can see you put a lot of love and time into your space.
I'll try this picture thing again! I'm not very good at this. I think these are a little better than the last ones that were actually taken yesterday. The date on the camera was wrong! As I said I'm definitely not a photographer!
Edit: The garden is facing South. It slopes back northward and down hill to the East. I have enlarged over the years until I have approximately 4400 square feet now. I don't intend to go any bigger!

Doris,
What a nice place you have! You must enjoy sitting back in it and looking around!

Thanks for awsome Pics.
Thank you.
Thanks Shady & Sudie. Yes, it's my favorite place. I love to work in it. We have just this year finished our home that was an "underground house" for 36 years! I can now look out my second floor windows and see the panoramic view! I love it! The reason the first pictures were So Bad, I tried to take them through a window.duh!
Thanks sharing!
Eureka!
Doris, that last picture is a brilliant plan!
I have an area just like it and have been looking for
ideas.
You have inspired me!
Thank you.
Corinne
You certainly have plenty of scope there!
Thank you all for your notes. I have been under the weather this week and away from my computer and my garden also. It has been raining and too wet to get the garden so I haven't actually missed much there.
Corinne, Good luck! Working on the bank is difficult but has been worthwhile for me.
Happy Gardening-doris
