TEA EGGS

Shangshui, Henan, China(Zone 7b)

20 eggs
1 spoon tea-leaf
1 spoon light soy sauce
small amount:
star anises
Chinese cinnamon
Chinese prickly ash
salt
Put in pot all above and boil 15 minutes .
Then,break egg shells.
Boil again 5 minutes.
Put away in pot for a day or two.
Taste!
Note:
The tea eggs is very popular in China.
Kids and adults like to eat.
It looks gray,tastes delicious.
