Got a letter from Eric

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

He's doing well, he's training to be a Medical Lab tech and the training will take a year. he's got just a couple of brugs to play with for now, he doesn't have much room I'm sure. Sounds really upbeat. He said there's no way he can get here before Dec 19 (I guess the training) and then just for short spurts. He said to say hi to everyone and that he misses us.
Great news though, Amber is saying a few words and waving bye. From the little he's said, this is really really good news!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

TiG, that's great news!! I saw a little girl today that weighed less than 2 lbs when she was born. She's 7 now and weighs 38 lbs. She's talking, walking and is pretty normal, just teeny. When I see her, I think of Amber. The medical field has come a long way!! Will look forward to seeing Eric post again.

Glad you heard from Eric. A friend of mine had a baby the same time I did back in 1973 and her daughter only weighed 1.5 lbs. She's 30 years old now and absolutely fine. I'm sure Amber will do just great. Give Eric our love.

tiG, when you see Eric or write to him, please tell him his brugs are doing well here. Hopefully he will come in to Daves before Christmas so we can send our greetings to him and his family.
