Are my eyes not seeing right? This looks pink to me. Jean Pasko should be yellow/gold with an orange rim or more like the Tropical Sunset pictures. In case it is my monitor, and nothing would surprise me, just thought I should ask if it is pink.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

thought the same thing

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Whew, tiG!! I've been under the weather for about three days and thought maybe I was seeing things.

This is not Jean Pasco. LOL

(Zone 7b)

maybe my camera.. it's not pink, more orange or maybe a pinky orange.. hmm.. if not jean pasko then what?

(Zone 6a)

looks pink to me too:)

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

looks pink to mee too, it is a very pretty pink brug

(Zone 7b)

LOL.. thanks owen. Maybe I'm colorblind :) I see that the picture looks pink but the flower itself really isn't all that pink! Oh well, I have a backup Pasko in a little pot for the winter & I'll change the label on this one to an unknown. It's pretty though!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Maybe it would help if someone could post a picture of Jean Pasko. I didn't have it this year due to giving it away without checking my tags or I would have a picture. Yes, this picture is pretty. Sure would be nice if we could ID all the brugs out there. I didn't have all my brugs marked correctly this year and I have to say that they were still pretty, no matter who they were. Enjoy your flowers. We don't have them in Iowa anymore and won't until summer.

Lutz, FL(Zone 9b)

Whatever it is, it's beautiful!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

the cats destroyed my one and only flower so far. But do a search on the PDB for Jean and if there's no picture, do one on Insignis Gold, it's very similar, so is the Tropical Sunset that should be still on the front page.

She is a pretty brug, isn't she? Did your baby bloom this year Hibiscus?

Liz, your brug is beautiful.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

That baby was 5' tall, loaded with buds, dropped them all but one, it bloomed...Hooray!!! The baby one I started for you is about 1-1/2' tall, has 7 buds, still in garage.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Don't let my baby get too cold!! :-) Mine in the garage are doing okay except for loss of leaves. Been pretty cold here and I'm sure they have had a little shock. I'm sure glad you got to see JP bloom, even if it was only one bloom. Maybe the baby JP will give you some enjoyment.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Jean Pasko has a very inflated calyx unlike most other brugs... :-)

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Kell, I missed you - I went for sushi - I waited, it's Friday - what can I say? I have stuff in the fridge for you.

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

Kell, Shultz is available @ HD for less than $5. for the 5 lb bag. the box is similar to MG, only the color is Yellow and not green. i used Shultz also for the orchids i grow.

Kell,
You can also get Peters 20-20-20.....it's good stuff.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)
