San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well these snuck up on me. the last ones got eaten!
Finally I will get to see this one flower. It is a stunning plant and grows quickly and robustly. I do not know why you guys have such trouble. I guess you are not as talented as I am!!! LOL

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Is this one Maya? Wait until you get the next flush of bloom. It will be a big one. She sure looks healthy.

Yes, Kell tell us which one this is!!!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

gorgeous! Is that what buds look like.......

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

CC, aren't your brugs blooming yet? How about Pink Beauty? The one you sent never did bloom, but had buds just as I had to put it away for the winter. I was so disappointed that I didn't get to see it bloom.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh sorry, it is Peaches and Cream which is why I made that crack about you guys having trouble. This one is hugely variagated and grows like crazy. It is not a bushy one like most, but more of a alley tree naturally. It has tons of side shoots though that I am going to root. its only big draw back is it gets eaten alive by cats even though it is surrounded by other brugs that do not get even a nip. BT solves that though.

I want you to try one of the offshots next spring Brugie. Maybe this one has different genes than the east coast P & Cs have.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

ms kell have you seen it bloom? do you know that it is peaches and cream? if so, maybe it likes your soil and weather better than mine.

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

Kell, did u over fertilize with nitrogen? look at the size of those leaves!!! love this one, i don't have a variegated one. love to see the flower on this one :).

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Yes Miss Kell, please tell us what you're feeding that brug. Mine sure doesn't look like that!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I have one all picked out for you Ma Vie....... a nice big one!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

This one really is an odd one. I have picked off more leaves than what is on this plant, but it just makes so many more. It is thick with leaves. Big leaves! I can't stand holes in my leaves so I snap them off if they have any. This one gets lots of holes so the leaves have to come off. and it just makes more.

thanks Kell :)! all my cuttings are doing great these days. i made a portable green house, using gigantic plastic bags to store the cuttings in. new set of leaves coming w/in a week's time. i've finally figured a way to grow the cuttings good.

most of the cuttings i have gotten lately are all rooted and growing nicely :)! am so happy, i've gotten over the phobia of raising brugs either from rooted or cuttings. whoopppeee!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

and all of yours are blooming well also Ma Vie.......... good job!!!

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

thanks Kell :)! am getting familiarize with the brugs now. almost similar to meeting a new friend, once u get to know them well enough, one feels better and more comfy.

one year of growing and close observation, allowed me to get to know these brugs. the CG u gave me are now in buds and in prolific growth. EP is full of buds and some are about to break open. SP is continiouly in bloom. Isabella, IP,and FP flowers come in waves of bloom, and lots of new buds forming too. Eric White is also in buds, some buds are about to open. JP is just beginning to form big buds now. can't wait to see the flower of that one. will post photo once it blooms.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

sounds great Ma Vie. I wish I had more blooming. The CG will bloom and bloom and bloom for you. Which is IP?

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

Insignis Pink, but i think it is similar to Isabella. they do look alike a lot.

ever since i used Vigoro 12-5-7, and foliar feed with Shultz 20-20-20 i notice all the buds forming real well. Vigoro activate w/in 72 hrs. after application. it is timed release and feed for 3 mos. so far, since July i have not applied any again. just foliar feed once a week.
