Wish you were here

Here is what my back patio looks like now. I think there are over 500 blooms open right now.

Here is the view from the other side. Don't look at the garden hose or pool cover on the table, lol.

ah....let me think about it.....NO! I don't want them to shrink!!! I would bring you my big beautiful brugs and when I came back in two weeks, they would be little twigs!! Po po baby brugs!!

Hey Cala, it looks wonderful. Are you leaving these in the ground for the winter?

Cala, what a great display....I too want to know if you will leave them in the ground, or take them into your greenhouse....
I'm going to leave a couple in the ground, I had several come back from last year, the only problem is that they were late bloomers. Just now having their first flush of blooms, whereas the others have had their second flush.

Pebble, same thing with mine that I left in the ground. They are having their first flush now and it's just too late. I just don't think we're warm enough in the summer on the PNW to have them grow quickly enough. It's not the frost thing here but the heat thing.

Beautiful!!! Wish I were there to smell the wonderful aroma. I have lots of buds . . maybe in a few weeks, I will have blooms.

Gosh, to have just a few of those blooms would bring me out of this flu bug really quick, I'm sure. Really looks great.

Brugie, I hope you feel better soon. Dee and hopefully Arlene are coming up to dig these in a couple of weeks. I'm sending some of the big trunks with Y's to CC and I'll take a few cuttings. My Jungle House is full and overflowing.

Hope you all have a great time. Digging in Iowa soil was hard this year. My basement is a jungle and it only full of cuttings and other tropicals. I think we better move south.

Hey Pepsi works good! I usually run around with a coffee cup in my hand. Cala is everything blooming now, my other unknown is blooming now, it opened up white but looked like it might change colors. Have a great time with Dee and Arlene, I bet I could learn alot with those three heads together.

Hey Susie, will these still be blooming when I get there. It's next Friday the 1 of Nov, remember.

Dee, I think they will still be pretty. TiG, I'm sure hoping that the frost holds off. I've got 100' rolls of Remay that I can pull over them.

Glory, I've got to get my shot yet too. I just don't like taking the time to do it.

Oh my, I'd lose it if I saw a snake in the house. Can't stand to see them outside. Four of them in the greenhouse this spring was enough to cause my heart rate to climb quickly.

Calalily 500 open blooms!!! That truely must be heaven on earth.

Arlene, I'll put the snake in the garage, or better yet, Bills Bathroom since he's the wise guy who took Lauren and bought it for her!!! He's not a big snake, he likes mice. He nipped my finger once by accident(never stick your finger in front of a snakes face when he's hungry)and it didn't even break the skin.

did I tell y'all that SIL's 9' albino Burmese python died??? did i tell y'all that DH and I high-fived each other?? and DD grinned!!!
