We got cuttings of this pretty Hibiscus from a nursery down the street. The sweet lady that owns the nursery gave us quite a few different cuttings...all at no charge. She has a lovely small nursery that I will definitely be using...alot.

You bet Vik! She's on Gunn Hwy between Race Track and N Mobley on the west side. Nice place! She has fountains and statuary out front.
Oh, I know who you are talking about...it is a very nice place! I usually stop there when I go for my hair cuts (LOL) Any excuse to stop!!! I think she is cheaper on her prices too. thanks for the info! Vik
And she takes payments on the fountains and big things!! Nice lady...she kept giving us cuttings. Jo had an armload...I had lots of pictures! I'll find something neat for her one of these days.

Hi Irish, yes it is still in a pot on my windowsill. Just now starting to put out new leaves. It's ready to go anytime. I had 2 but I think I might have sent one to Hibiscus by mistake. LOL, Guess I better tell her! How would you like to get it? Want me to ship it or are you coming up this way any time soon?

Dee, she has a few neat things like the chalice vine but mostly her plants are nice and healthy and her prices can't be beat, even by Home Depot! Come on down, spend some time, we'll go wildflowering and nursery-ing.

LOL Gloria, When I look at my windowsill there is still a cutting from the Fl Sunset, but no 2nd Red Hot! Can't imagine where else it might be!!
