The Exotic Garden

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

by Richard Iversen. Thank you whoever here turned me on to this book. It's wonderful.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

you might have read what I posted about it. I traded Kyle something for it. I do love it too and hope that my gardens are even better next year!

liz, where did you get this book? I haven't heard of it.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8a)

Yes, Liz, where did you purchase this read??????? Elaine..huh, huh????

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I heard about it here. Everyone was raving about it during the summer. It's what I wish my gardens would grow up to be. Of course I'd need Kyle to make them look like it.
Elaine - I'll bring it tomorrow, you can read while I drive.

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

Books-a-million and Barnes and Noble both have it. I got mine at Books-a-million. Isn't it great.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I saw that at BAM, but couldn't get it after I bought the A-Z Encyclopedia!! I'll put it on my list of "gotta get" books.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

You talked me into it Liz. I still have some money on my gift card for Borders. I'm pretty sure I saw it there.

Liz, I just ordered the book from Indigo. Thanks for the tip.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

you'll love it!

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Borders and Half/price books usually carry it.
:-) Another great book is "Hot Plants For cool climates"

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Well... Poo!, Borders didn't have it. I'll have to order too. I did get another one - GMC's "Exotics are Easy". I haven't really sat down to look it over yet but it looks pretty good. And it was only $15 :)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

These books are to dream on over the winter. I have the Hot Plants one too - when the rains start to fall - I'll be diving into my tropical books.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

I agree! tiG turned me onto "The Exotic Garden"! I purchased it through Half/price Books....love it! Can't put it down:~)

I had "Hot Plants For Cool Climates", which is also excellent! I highly recommend both books.
