Okay, I think I had another mismarked one. My Ollie was almost white. Just a hint of cream to it. Didn't really care for it, so it was given away. I like the color on this one.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

My Ollie is almost white.

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

So is mine.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Ollie,Ollie....in come free......

Ok who has the REAL Ollie?

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Donna has her fingers crossed that hers will blooms before a frost.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Ollie is white. Maybe it's just the lighting in the photo??

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

I have Ollie but never bloom.. Maybe next year! It's still pretty, anyway..

JT,
Ollie was a seed I started from LBJ and it was/is a pale cream/whiteish. I no longer have the original Ollie it made the compost pile this fall.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thought I would have the right one since it came from you, Gloria, but thought the color was so much different on this one. I had to let mine go because of having so many white types. Enjoyed it this year though and now my friends can enjoy it. Can always get cuttings when I give them away close to me.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Looks like a chubby bloom, very pretty!

And pretty bad Glory when your Mom puts you in the compost pile!!!

Kell,
Speaking of compost....the blasted things are growing again in the compost. I guess I'll have to quit putting them in the compost.

Jen,
Found this V. Peach blooming on the dirt road behind my property....you need to come over and collect the things growing back there.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

really Glory? So a bird ate a seed and deposited it there to grow? or the wind took it from your plant and let it down to grow? that is too cool. If I were you I would go back there and drop tons of seeds. They would grow wild.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Hmmmmm..Gloria,this came from you as did all of your hybrids etc.Any idea what this is?

JT,
Beats me!!!!LOL Do me a favor and measure this flower and let me see a picture of the leaves.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

OK I'll measure and take a pic of the leaves.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Glory,The corolla measures 6 inches across the face with the tendrils included!Length of flower, including calyx is 8 inches.Length of corolla outside the calyx is 4 inches.
A short,fat,fragrant beauty.The leaves are lightly serrated.
I hope I can find the name of this one.I really like it.

JT i like that one too. i have been picking leaves, don't have too many leaves left to get holes! bought that bayer 2 in 1 six weeks for special ones. seems to help. then i bought the ortho rose spray 3 in 1.... just used it, will see what that does.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Gone2seed................ I am reading Notollie as one word........... no -tollie ad I was just about to post that I had never heard of a No-tollie.............

very very nice!! I like it alot!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Everytime I come back to this thread, I like this brug a little more. Won't be long it will be a have to have situation.

JT,
Would you do me a favor and check and see or maybe you can remember If I sent you a Biloxi Belle or Old Glory

Biloxi Belle Picture This picture was the first time it bloomed....I have been having trouble getting this one to bloom this year.

Thumbnail by Glory

JT,
Here is a picture of Old Glory..another small one....the leaves on this one is more serrated then your Ollie. Your leaves are more like the Biloxi Belle.

Kell,
The plant growing on the dirt road behind my property was just thrown there(was a large cutting)as land fill and is growing as pretty as you please.

I may be way off base here, but I had a brug that bloomed like that I think. Well it looked just like that to me, but I'm still learning. It was labeled Dr. Suess. My Ollie I grew from seed from Glory did bloom white.

Here's a picture of my Dr. Suess blooms this year. Do they look like the same?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

If I remember right, and most times I don't remember at all, my Suess blooms had a thinner corolla tube. Wish I had a closeup picture in this computer. Whatever it is, I like it.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

This one isn't even close to Dr.Seuss.Dr has yellow turning to orange and pendant, large flowers. This one starts yellow and stays yellow. The blooms are nodding.
Glory....I had both Biloxi Belle and Old Glory.I thought I had lost OG but maybe not.

Glory....I had both Biloxi Belle and Old Glory.I thought I had lost OG but maybe not. I looked at the close up of your OG and the flowers do look the same.It has to be one of yours or Aurea Gold. These pots were grouped together.Tags could possibly have gotten switched.

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

JT, could it by chance be Jesse Noel, it kinda looks like her? That came from Gloria too.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Dee,I have Jesse. This one is fatter, smaller and has more recurve. So far I'm thinking I may have gotten tags switched
and this may be Old Glory. The leaves look just slightly different from Glorias.I planted all of Glorias plus Maya and Ecuador pink in one bed.Pretty sure this isn't Maya,EP,JN or Whiskers.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Mystery solved.Ann found the diagram I drew when I planted these. It's Biloxi Belle. The tags had been switched at some point.I'm blaming the grandkids. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

JT, glad Ann found that diagram. grandkids are a much better reason than mine, which is the puppy chewing the tags up.

it sure is sweet.

JT,
I'm so jealous...mine has not bloomed this year...guess I need to give it a good talking to. I'm very glad you found out which one it was.

Good work Ann on locating the diagram!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

It is very pretty.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

is it in the PDB??

tiG,
I don't think it's in the PDB...if you would be so kind to do it for me...don't want everyone know how dumb I am. LOL

Biloxi Belle: Aurea Gold X Charles Grimaldi(Whiskers) X Charles Grimaldi

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I can enter the info, and we'll get JT to enter his picture :)

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

will do unless Gloria has one she would rather use.Might as well do her others while you are at it Tig.I have pics of Jesse Noel,Whiskers and Biloxi Belle

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Whiskers is in there, could use another picture, I'll look and see if JN is there.
