The Amur Maple is a shrub type tree. Green leaves all summer turning to rich orange and red in the fall. This one is 4 years old and 7ft. tall now.

Common name: Amur Maple

What a nice fall color for the garden! Do you have any close-ups of the leaf to add to the PDB? I'd love to see it.

Hi Weez..I'll go out and take some close-ups later today and add them. It is even a prettier colour now than when that pic was taken a week ago. It sure adds some punch to the fading fall garden.

Thanks..do you have an Amur Maple?
Yes I am in ON about 50 mi. east of Toronto.
This photo was taken in 2001..
My daughter and her girls.. I will have to take more photos this fall when the maple turns red.
