I am looking for a recipe for something my in-laws call Brigadaros. I think they may be of Brazilian origin, but I am not sure. Also, there may be other names by which they are referred. A long time ago, I saw a recipe and made them, but I can't recall for certain if that was the name for them.
When made, they are soft chocolaty balls (rolled by hand) that are delicious! I don't think I'd call it a truffle, but I'm just don't know. Some of the ingredients I recall are Sweet Condensed Milk and semi-sweet chocolate. Along with the other ingredients, you heat the mixture until it's thickened. You then remove from heat and roll the chocolate balls to desired size. You can roll them in grated chocolate or the brown sprinkles you can buy at the store.
I've been looking for this recipe for years! Does it sound at all familiar to anyone?
