I love this short little fellow, muddy face and all! Is that its foliage?

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

Yes, the leaves are a little darker here than in real life, but they tone very well with the flowers

This gives a better idea of its habit and what the whole plant looks like.

It even goes climbing :)

I think I posted this on another one of your threads, but this is outside my zoning. Do you suppose it would perform as an annual here... remember we have a short, cool season.

Yes, Weez, I am interested also. I will look around the web tonight for more (first year bloom).

It might do, it's not completely hardy here so it's treated as an annual here often. Early sown seed would probably mature soon enough
It's not a hit you in the eye plant, just a charmingly quiet one.

Looks as though it may cover some space in one year. Thanks!

Seward, AK(Zone 3b)

Thanks, Phil. I might get some seed and give it a try. I start lots of plants early indoors, so it could join the crowd! Your photos, particularly this one, make this plant quite attractive... soon we'll discover that you are secretly a photographer for Thompson & Morgan catalog!
