it's at least going to be yellow

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

not sure what it will eventually turn. Marked Erics special crosses, remember when his tags got pulled up? so parentage is gone, but this baby remains. The tendrils are almost 3" long.

wanted to pollinate these flowers but it was raining too hard. I hope to get the next ones. I wasn't going to take it up but think I'll have to now, it will make a great alley tree.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

So pretty! Love those long tendrils!

tiG,
Do you think this one is crossed with Whiskers....I believe he was working on that.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Love long tendrils................guess that is why Whiskers is one of my favorites. Like the little wavy ruffle around the skirt too.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Gloria, it's very possible, the flower is 5" across and the tendrils are 2ū" long. Total flower from top of calyx to longest edge of bloom about 11". the wind is blowing something fierce and I didn't want to tear the flower up. It's a peachy yellow this morning, the edges being the most peachy. Just the front 2 flowers are this new seedling, the ones in the back are Becca Lynn.

Wow! Speechless here. Stunning with these long tendrils and the colorchange.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It is a beauty isn't it? TiG, do you think your colors are more intense now in the cool weather?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Cala, I don't know. as many of these are first time bloomers, don't know if they are true or not. I do know that the yellow/oranges (not seedlings) that have been blooming are more vibrant this flush. Everyone keeps saying that flowers will be darker in warmer temps, is it warmer or cooler? Pink Beauty isn't as dark as a month ago, Butterfly is the same. Two pink seedlings that I didn't show here are blooming a bit lighter. One the same. All I can do is take pics now and then again in summer. It's really just turned cool here in the past week, so I would think that mostly mine would be late summer flowers???
(can you tell I don't know??? )

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

With the very cool temps we have been having I have noticed that ones that bloomed outside have bloomed much lighter in the last flushes. EP, Butterfly and v. Peach are blooming now in the cool GH and they are lighter and smaller blooms than when they bloomed this summer.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

some are definitely smaller, PB for example. Solid Gold and a few others. Butterfly is the same as always.

Monika, I know you said that summer pictures should always be taken, but is that because they are darker, lighter, truer, what?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Tig I love that one ,the color is great!

All my pinks are smaller and of no particular color. x insignis pink it pure white at this time of year.
