I need to get a new pump for our pond. The one we have isn't working correctly in that it has to be bumped to start it everytime I turn it off to clean. If the power went out it wouldn't start alone. What I want to know is what size (GPH) should we get. The one we have is 200 GPH. The pond is a 50 gallon one. It has a 2 gallon cascade veggie filter, falls for a total of 52 gallons. We bought the one we have with NO research. I know better now *G*
TIA,

what size pump (GPH)
Sugar...you will need one to cycle your water amount at least every 2 hours, 200 gph is fine! Try to find a Beckett... we bought one when we first built pond 4 yrs ago and it has gone 24/7 and still going! Knock on wood! LOL
Still going to send plants! Been busy!
Picker Thanks,
The one we have is from Lowes & I think it is "Little giant" or something like that. I have no idea where to find that brand. Our choices of places to buy at Dothan aren't to many but will look. Aren't U in Alabama?

Don't get little giant...have bought 2 and they broke! Try Walmart for beckett pump...that's where I bought mine or you can find one online somewhere.
Try justliners.com but would probably be better to buy locally than thru mail!
Yes, live in Al close to Auburn!
Good luck!
