name suggestions wanted

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

This is the Aurea x v. candida that opened last week. I want to name it Taylor something. Taylor Caldwell is my favorite author and I gave my DD Taylor as a middle name. My oldest grandson carries it on as his middle name.

my thoughts so far:
Taylor's Dawn
Taylor Dawn
Taylor's Sunset
Taylor Rosè (or would it be Taylor Rosé?) would not want it to be misnamed as Taylor rose.

Suggestions more than welcome!!!!

I tried to get a picture that shows both the recurves. One curls back and then the next makes a sharp indent with a recurve.

Reminds me of a ocean wave.
My suggestion, - Taylor's Wave-
Beautiful plant.
Just think, you can start your own 'signature' of brugmansias- just like the Lakeside series of hostas.
You can have the 'Taylor' line of brugs *grin*

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Gorgeous tiG. Thats my 1st grandaughter's name. It reminds me of the bottom of a Barbie doll gown.

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

Why not call it simply 'Taylor Caldwell'? Then if anyone ever wanted to research this brug on the net they'ld find out that that's the name of an Author and so it must be named after them! Just MHO!

well, I want it to be named after my daughter, as that's her name. I simply put in why the name Taylor is so important to me. Her first name is Jessica, we call her Jessie and there is already a Jessie Noel, and don't want to add to name confusion.

Very pretty tig. Taylor Dawn or Taylor Sunset would be fitting. It does remind me of the the sunrises and sunsets this time of the year with all the pink in the sky.

Names often have a meaning.

Brugmansia x "Ashlyn Taylor"

Ashlyn = vision or a dream.

"Taylors dream". Well, still no pink in this name. :)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm going to give all these to DD in the morning and let her decide, I love them all!!!

Tig Taylor's Dawn great name and beautiful. My mothers side is Taylor.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

My oldest granddaughter's name is Taylor Marie. I've been watching this thread and checked the PDB and notice that the pictures there are two different colors. Is that due to the camera or weather, or what? The picture at the beginning of this thread has great color. I often wonder if our monitors might show different colors too.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

weather and time of day too. some were made early early morning. I try to get the picture that shows the truest color on my monitor, and can only hope it shows up like that for y'all. We've had a lot of cloudy weather lately too, so the different angles show differently I think.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

It is very pretty in any case.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

the two at the top of the page are true color on my monitor. The third pic are kindof light, but wanted the show the shape.
