Maybe Cala can answer this question for you since she grows them to sell.
I did it one year, put in back room, where no one went in and turned on lights, put plant under an end table, cover over table, dark plastic, blanket or whatever. 12-14-16 hours.
Daytime took out and put in light for approx. 8 hrs. This until bracts start to show color, approx. 6-8 wks.
