these av's need to go

smithton, MO(Zone 5a)

i have some av plants and baby plants that have to go.....i dont have the time to take proper care of them.......they are not named but i do know the color of some of them.....i am willing to send them for the postage if one thinks its not too chilly yet to send them...or i might consider something in trade, like 1 perennial or just one something for all the av's i have......but i really need to let these go to someone who has the time to keep them growing as i dont......:(....too many other plants right now....let me know who wants them and will give them a good home..:)

Hi Cindy,

I'am very interested in your offer but could you tell me a little more about your "av" plants. I'm not familiar with them and any info would be appreciated.

they are just african violets...they need to be kept moist...and that is something i dont seem to be able to do...i have never killed plant from overwatering, now underwatering is a different story....i have various ones, some have the nice smooth edges and some have what they call boy leaves(kinda crinkled edges), some will be blue some are purple some are pink...i have some wrote down as to what the color is and some i started from leaves from a friend....i just dont have the time to take care of them and get them to bloom and such, but one is budding now and one just finished blooming so im not doin too bad....lol

have a happy:)

Brommom, I am definitely interested in getting them for the cost of postage. Pls. email me and we can work something out. I never lose plants so I am not concerned with having a problem with them.

Sorry.....Hope Elena can maybe give them a good home. I have a smaller Cottage syle home and hardly any room for houseplants. Lots of outdoor plants though.

Do you still have the avs?

I am interested, or rather, my son's interested in AVs. Every now & then he begs for a dark bluish-like, burgandy or red-like, & white to go with his bedroom's Americana scheme. I keep forgetting to look for some. Do you have any of those colors?

Cindy I am now in the process of building a sun room for my mother who wants to grow them. She has four or five now and has always loved them. Should have the sun room finished this month. What do you think??

Waiting for spring
