Peach Hybrid and v. Peach

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Both of these came from Arlene. The v. Peach on the right is smaller and the flower corolla extends further out of the calyx. The flowers on the left was marked Peach Hybrid and the corolla is much bigger and does not extend out of the calyx. Arlene, do you know what this Hybrid might be?

Me too Cala. This is one I cut the top half off and stuck it in a bucket of water so I could see what the flowers were like. Glad I did.

That's funny Snowhermit. Mine just opened for the first time today too. The color hasn't darkened up yet tho. This is the one that's supposed to be Spring Peach ... right?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Yes, snow, has to be what has since been named spring peach. i gave all my young ones away, and the mama hasn't bloomed yet this year. gonna be ready for next year though, air layering every stalk on every one i really like!

Great! Thanks Arlene. I'll change the tag to Spring Peach.Happy it's finally got a name.
Poppysue, It will darken up some. The colors on the Brugs now are strange since the weather has turned cold. Milk N Honey is a dark peach color and even v. Alba has a touch of pink. Alba has always been pure white in every flush till now.
