a while back I had problems on laptop and I'm back at them. I formatted C drive. reinstalled win98. everything was working fine. got the ethernet card drivers installed and when I rebooted I get msgsrv32 error, and windows won't load. It did happen once before I put those drivers in, so i don't think it's the drivers from e. card.
I'm about to pull my hair out. Sometimes I get HIMEM.SYS not found, I copied that from my boot up disc to C:windows like in the old thread we had on this before.
any ideas while I still have a bit of hair??
okay, couldn't send that when I first tried, and now the desktop is working again.
anyone have any ideas about what could be causing this sometimes on, sometimes broke problem???
