Ursaline X from TiG

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I really love this one, it was white the first time it bloomed and is now a soft creamy yellow. I'm going to keep it. I crossed it to Whiskers today. This bloom is short like an Arborea. What type would you call this? The corolla is about as long as my first finger, and about that wide. This is the 3rd or 4th time its bloomed.

I have this one too - but probably won't see a bloom til next year - glad to see what I have to look forward too! Very pretty.

WEre these all cuttings from the same seedling, or were they separate seedlings? I have two, actually they were growing together, and they are entirely different.

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

I have one from tiG also and I have a small bud on it. Maybe it will bloom this year.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

very pretty!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

That is beautiful Cala.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

??? A cutting I think, from Tig - too long ago, early summer!

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

ohh that has a lovely lemony color. love it!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

no, they were all seedlings. each different. I had my first one open last night. short and white. I had 3 whites open last night!!! one from Eric has tendrils 2 1/4" long though!

Saint Petersburg, FL(Zone 9b)

I think I got one of these from tiG also at the march swap but mine hasn't "Y" as of yet... hope I get a yellow like this

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Pete, I have several that haven't Yed either. I want one just like Calas!!!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Absolutely beautiful bloom. What are you looking to achieve by crossing it with the Whiskers as it is also yellow? I am just trying to learn more about the brugs. That is the reason for the question.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

That is a nice one Calla. tiG - do you know what Ursaline was crossed with?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

no, the packet said x Euro, so i imagine they might have been on euros that were waiting out their quarantine time. just don't know, came from lbj

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

I wonder if it might be from mixed pods ... different pollen doners? The ones Snowhermit and I split were Ursa x Cuba; and Ursa x Austrailie.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm sure these were probably moth gifts:) I wish mine was as nice as Calas

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Nice Yellow. Helps when the tendrils are nice and long too. I'd sure keep this one.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

TiG, the first time this one bloomed it was a pale ivory, almost white, each time it gets darker. It's the color of lemon merangue(sp?) pie now. I have a few that did this, started out almost white and get color in the following flushes. This is a small plant too, not over 3 ft tall, but a nice canopy.
I want to keep this shape, but darken the yellow, that's why I used Whiskers. I had used L'Amour pollen on some other blooms, but the pods fell off in a storm. Is this an aurea type flower? L'Amour isn't blooming right now, but has big buds.

(Zone 6a)

Nice shade of yellow....I like that one:)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I thought about the name "Antique Lace" for it since its' the color of old lace.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I love the name, and remember if you got one from me, they are all different. seedlings, not cuttings.
Cala, put me on the list for this one, please!!!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

it sure has nice tendrils on it.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Guess I should add it to the data base. I'll save cuttings, haven't taken any so far, it's got blooms on every branch.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

It's a beauty Cala.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I love this shape, and I'm starting to really like the small flowers.

(Zone 7b)

The shorter flowers are so cute. This one is a great color, definitely a keeper.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Very pretty and nice long tendrils. I also like some of the smaller ones.
