I have been plagued by them all summer too. I hope I can keep them under control once everything comes in the house. This little pocket scope has been the best gadget I've bought in long time. http://www.hydro-gardens.com/nonpesticide_controls.htm#30Xmicroscope It's really great for seeing the mites. I know I've had a couple different kinds on my plants.

Poppysue, that's exactly the same one I have, aren't they great?

Thanks for the great info links. Luckily I have never in 8 years had any major bug problems with my brugs. I get terrible white flies on my gardenias though.

Donna, Safer's soap is good to control whiteflies. We have used it on our poinsettias in the past, but now use Marrathon early on and it's got a 90 day residual.

Just yesterday, I bought a pkg of 3 yellow sticky cards at a nursery for $3.95, thought this a little high, but I need them for winter.
