Is there anyone in California or Fla or any state that can keep Water hyacinths all winter? If you can, I have tons and would love to trade!!!!!! I paid atleast $2.75 a piece and they have multiplied and bloomed and are so beautiful!
Please LMK if you are interested!!!

I know they are illegal in FL, not sure about CA. They clog waterways if released accidentally or on purpose into the wild.

Hi Traci,
Thought I should tell you that it is illegal to transport them across many state lines! It is illegal to even own them in several states. Check your state regulations and the regulations of the state you are shipping them to before shipping them to save grief. To be the safest, the compost bin will be very happy to get them. Lani

OOps!! Ok, I certainly don't want to get in trouble!! Just thought I would try to offer them before they croak!

Thanks sooooo much!

You are welcome. I know that it is hard to throw them away but that really is the safest route and they do make great compost! Hope to talk to you soon. Lani
