I find it is easier to diet if U have someone to share it with so U all are my someone :)
DH & I are both trying to lose weight. We started the 26th but not sure how we are doing. We did get some scales yesterday. They only weigh by the pound so gotta lose a pound before U know it. Maybe that is good as U don't worry about every ounce *G* We go back for our 4 month check up in a couple of weeks. We are doing a 1200 & 1600 diet. It is sometimes hard to get the 1600 for DH. Right now he isn't active (not long out of the hospital) so hopefully he is getting enough. I have been on a diet on & off all my life so isn't hard for me to cook for it.
Sample of todays menu
DH's Breakfast
2 egg scramblers=60 calories
2 slices of toast=120
glass of skim milk=90
2% for coffee= 25
sugar free jelly=20
total=315
My breakfast
1/2 cup of allbran=80
1 cup sugar-fat free fruit yogurt=80
1 slice toast(lite bread) 40
glass skim milk =90
total 290
Lunch (DH)
1 bun of lite bread=80
slice of lowfat lunch meat =30
Low fat cheese=30
fat free mayo=10
large salad with 1/2 a scrambler cut up in it with tomatos & other veggies=50 (a guess)
2 tablespoon low fat salad dressing =90
1/2 banana=50
total= 340
Lunch (mine)
Bun =80
low fat meat=30
fat free mayo=10
green beans = 30
lowfat salad dressing on the cold greenbeans=30
1/2 a banana=50
Total =260
Supper
We had a beef soup made with 12 OZ of 4% fat Hamburger
3 cans of beef broth
1 can of carrots
1 can of greenbeans
1 onion
5 medium potatoes
1 quart of fresh frozen tomatoes
1 cup of left over broccoli
1 pack of Lipton onion soup
Dh had a few crackers & I had 2 slices of lite bread toasted
We had this for 2 nites & have some to freeze for later.
It is hard to figure this but making 5 (left overs will be a lunch) meals out of it I'm sure it is within our limit.
In between we had a 1/2 cup container of Dole Jello & fruit cup=80
I had a 1/2 a cup of fat free cottage cheese (snacking is a bigger problem for me)=80
tonite I had a cup of Total cereal (no milk)=150
DH had 1/2 cup ice cream (his weakness)= 150
gerddi, How do I get the graph I hear everyone talking about?
