Good Morning Everyone.
My Goodness, it sure has been busy! I think my last post may have been Friday. I had taken Friday off to run some errands. Hubby had to work Friday evening so I invited myself to my Daughter's house for supper. come to find out my youngest daughter had invited herself too. She was bringing take out. So I stopped and got pop ( or soda- my kids make fun of me for calling it pop). Hubby called from work and said he forgot money and would we bring him something. Daughter's house isn't far from work so after we ate we all started piling in the car. He called right before we left , but since we were all on our way we went in anyway. When we got home my Son-in-Law's sister had called and said His Mom was gravely ill. I told them to just go (They are from Northern Illinois) and I would take care of my Granddaughter. My Son-in-Law's Mom sadly passed away. I had a very very busy young lady to take care of all weekend. She will be 2 in December. My hubby and youngest daughter are taking her to her parents today in Illinois for the funeral services.
On a happier note. We got our new bull! He is a yearling hereford. I think when he grows and fills out he will be just beautiful! He is halter broke so was lead right into our old horse trailer. I have been so busy I really haven't even gotten to go out to the pasture and check him out since we unloaded.
The weather is definitely changing here. I have to get busy and start moving my plants inside before it freezes. It will be a big job. As are many people here at Dave's I am a plant collector.
Wingnut, I am so sorry about your cow. It is so easy to get attached to them.
Lisa, Good to see you got through the storm so well.
We have actually gotten some rain here. Greened things up again. The sheep are so much happier in this weather.
Everyone Take Care.
