Good morning folks!

Yesterday church service was electric! You could feel the excitement in the air because everyone knew that God was watching over us this past week with the storm. Everyone you talked to was all a-buzz about it.

Our comfort here is pretty tough..lol..With all the standing rain from tropical storm Isidore 3 weeks ago has left us with a bumper crop of mosquitos. I have never in my life seen so many 'skeeters! You can't walk outside without being attacked. It makes being outside next to impossible. Also the muddy mess from all the rain we are still getting is pretty miserable. We bought a mosquito trap yesterday, we found one on sale for half the price of those offered here:http://www.gadgetbabe.com/showpage.asp?itemid=16010&source=gogl They are pretty neat looking gadgets. I heard they really do zap the population of mosquitos. I hope it works. My animals are in pure miserary, being covered from head to tail with those nasty, hungry varmits.

Today I will make attempts to finish picking up all the limbs that were tossed about. I can't wait to start tilling up my new garden. As soon as it dries up around here, I'll be on the tractor.

Mary-please know you are in my prayers today as you go to visit your friend in the hospital.

Counting my blessings here, even though we have skeeters as big as B-52's!
