I have windows 98SE and AOL 7.0. I think IE is my browser but when I am on line and click on IE shortcut it says currently no connection to internet. Then two buttons, Work off line or Try again. Clicking on try again opens it. If IE is my browser how come I can open windows on the internet okay but IE is not open? Hopefully there are others as unknowledgeable as I and this will be helpful to them also. What is the difference with being online with AOL (can it be considered a browser?) and using IE? Having same problem as Horseshoe with no full page opening. Tried clicking on IE and properties but saw nothing about "Run".
When I tried to preview this got a message "The web page you requested is not available off line." Then a button to connect. Heck, I am already online and in Dave's Garden, sure don't understand.
Well, I clicked on connect and then could check preview.
Need ABC's of browsers.
