Full Sun

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Which brugs are best for placeing in full sun. I know none really like it. I have about 200 feet of fence I want to plant with brugs. Some will get full sun from the south for a few hours and dappled shade from the west later in the afternoon. The last 40 feet or so will get full sun all day from the south and then the west. This last 40 feet is also the dryest part of my yard. TIA for your help.

Donna, I had good luck with Maya in the sun, but the others would prefer a little relief from the hot afternoon sun. They usually come back, but the blooms drag and go limp and don't last as long when cooking in the sun.

I have a Frosty Pink brug in full sun all day long and it does great. In fact, I moved it out of the shade to get more blooms. It is also a very aromatic brug.
Here is a pic I took this month.

I will be trimming it up soon and will try to root some up, so if your interested in some, please let me know, ok.

BTW, what zone are you in? I am zone 10 in So. Calif.

Dr. Seuss is doing great for me in full sun, but requires lots of watering.

Thanks for the offer SoCal but I have one and a couple of cuttings I made in TS Isadore. I can't wait until it gets as big as yours.
