Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Look at that! Thats what I want mine to grow up to be!

Hamilton, Canada

Very nice specimen. I stripped all the lower leaves off mine again to encourage it to grow taller.

san antonio, TX(Zone 8a)

wow!!! i got a cutting for strawberry creme...is that what it'll look like?

Woodville, TX(Zone 8a)

WOW!!!!!! That is just beautiful! Hope some of mine look like that next year!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

beautiful picture. Mine was very slow growing for my short growing season so it went bye bye.

Harford County, MD(Zone 6b)

That's just beautiful..Is the leaf varigated or is that just the way the light makes it look?

Ace, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you. The Peaches N Cream is is a variegated. It's so neat, the unopened blooms are yellow, then open white and then turn peach.
I also have Sunset another variegated, no blooms yet on it. Here is a close up of the variegation.

those are soooo adorable...look like little ballerinas!!

Meiyu, the Strawberry Creme is an Isabella X Butterfly cross and the bloom will be anywhere from Watermelon color to a nice pink on the outter edges of the bell and then white up inside. Just a great bloomer. Blooms constantly.

san antonio, TX(Zone 8a)

wow...how cool! gosh, i wish they could grow faster!!

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

I just thought I was doing something wrong with mine! Got it from Dee early summer - I think it has only grown an inch or 2 - less than a foot tall, healthy tho & full of leaves. How old is yours Canjunace??

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

PJ, I gave mine away because it grew so slowly. Maya is a different story. Grows like crazy.

Hamilton, Canada

I look forward to when mine looks like this. I already have 3 roots cuttings off the mother plant.

(Zone 6a)

That is a beautiful brug with the variegated foliage and the soft colors of the blooms:)

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

I'd like to know how old that one is too!

Ace, TX(Zone 8a)

I received this one as a rooted cutting, and it stayed in the greenhouse one winter. I planted it in the ground this spring and it was slow starting compared to my other brugs. So this was it first season in the ground. It is planted near my pond and gets the run off when I over flow the pond so it get's lots of moisture. I also have sunset and it is a year older. It stayed in the ground last winter and came back this spring. I had to move it so it hasn't done much. They don't like to be moved around much, but i had it in full sun and it would have cooked it. Once they get established they seem to grow well here in the ground in zone 8.

Wow that is an incredible plant

OOOHHH that is soooo pretty Ludger!!!

Do they do that often?I've seen other people with branches like that......

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Maya do it sometimes
but often the pure white leafes look "good" only short time.
They become brown or very small.

Ludger, Maya and Sunset are supposed to be the same thing, just different names.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Greetings Ludger

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Ludger, i met a grower at the plant sale today who said he had a variegated brug with a variegated flower. i think he had that southern habit of exaggeration, but he gave me his addy and phone # and told me he who give me a cutting. i figure i'll go and look, get a piece just to see. what's one more cutting? do you really have 600 brugs?

Ace, TX(Zone 8a)

Ludger your Maya is beautiful. Are they all the same plant. I am trying to get a collection of the variegated brugs going. Any one know how many var. brugs there are. It gets so confusing LOL I am hoping to trade the cuttings from this and my Sunset for more variegated brugs.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Arlene - a variegated bloom? Please take your camera. I'd love to see it.

san antonio, TX(Zone 8a)

i came in on this thread late, sorry! that is a beautiful!!! i'd love to know what the bloom looks like, though...did i miss the shot running through the thread?

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Hi,

the Brug ( the photo ) is one Maya. One white twig and much normal variegated twigs. I donīt know why Maya is doing.

I look forward to seed out my crossings with variegated Brugs.

I very would like to have an exch...with variegated.

I will count my Brugs again when they are in. Some are for Brother Frost.
But Monika gave much more to me. I have to count again, smile.
See you later

Liz, don't know if i'll catch it in bloom. if not he said he'd give me cuttings of two different variegated ones. i'm not holding my breath.
Ludger, what kind of exchange?

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)
