When it comes to new leaves taking what seems like forever to unfurl, I ever so gently help them do so.
I do this mostly with my pinkish Syngonium because I want to see if the color's any brighter pink than the leaf before.
I've never noticed any of its leaves being bruised or holey because of my actions.
I guess I'm like a kid at Christmas time, peaking under the paper to see what's wrapped up!
Does anyone else do this, or am I the only bad one?
ive left marked leaves and flowers with my lack of patients!
LOL! I knew I wasn't the only one! ;-P
I, too am guilty, but only with the moonflower and morning glories....so far :-)
Maryan
I do it all the time!
Guess I'm not alone.........LOL
I do it too. I thought everyone did! LOL!
You guys are braver than I. I assume the plant is moving at its optimum speed, and force myself to let it do so. Actually, it never occurred to me to help it along. Now I'm wondering if I could have safely done so. Hmmmmm....
Obviously you are blessed with something that the rest of us don't seem to have, Aimee. PATIENCE
