Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Love the color!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

nope, this was gotten in a trade and the tag said,"double orange/yellow/red

After all these years I don't even know where I got it either!

Its not easy to root either,my variegates rooted much better than this did....

Birmingham, AL(Zone 7b)

The bloom is gorgeous and fascinating, but it's also interesting that it is growing from the trunk of a dracaena -- that's creative grafting!

About rooting, when cuttings give me trouble, I resort to air-layering. The selected branch can take as long as it likes to root since the mother plant continues to provide for its basic needs, and, once it has produced sufficient roots, you're just a snip away from a strapping, independent new young'un.
