What is the best way to store fresh brug cuttings for up to a couple weeks until they get sent out in the mail??

Storage of fresh cuttings
Owen - if they are small enough and you can change the water every day I think they'll be okay in water. I left mine too big and had them in too much water - that's why I think they began to rot. Did you see the rolls I made from spagnum moss? That's seems to be working out pretty good. If you don't have the moss - I think it was Barb that mentioned she does the same thing with damp paper towels.
Wrap the entire cutting in peat or wet paper towels, or just the bottom half of each cutting?
I'd use just a bit of a light fungicide as well though just to be on the safe side. Letting the bottom of the cutting dry out without letting the entire cutting wilt is also advisable in my experience as well, but this can be hard with particularly green cuttings sometimes. I've had green cuttings root without ever taking them out of the water or changing the water as well. Its just a matter of keeping them hydrated, but not overly damp where the fresh cuts have been made for the most part though as until the cut ends callous up a bit they are more prone to rot. Still, I have had rooted brugmansia in water rot as well. Often times one can cut the rotted portions off though if one is trying to root a particularly large green cutting and continue on as is. Hope this helps more than it confuses.
Thanks Eric:)
OH good! - you're still here Eric?
