'Lilac'?

Hi everyone, I am sure that there was a discussion on this, but does anybody grow 'Lilac', and if so, what do you think of it? Is there a source here in the USA for this one?

It's not available in the States as far as I know. I'm not sure it's available anywhere. Monika will know but she's asleep.

Lilac is available in Europe, but has become rare because of virus infection.

Thank you, monika. Maybe I need to wait then, until they can clean it up, possibly by tissue culture? Was hoping to find a source of seeds of named crosses using 'Lilac', but this might not be wise if infected... John
