Thanks Cala!

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Last year Cala sent me some brug cuttings. Altho I've kept most of them in pots I finally decided to set one in the ground this summer. Now I know why all you "Brugheads" are always ooh-ing and aah-ing. 'Tis only a Jutner orange (not a fancy double/triple like some of ya have) but everyone in the family loves it! Now if I can just learn to quit poking my nose inside those flowers! Thanks Cala!

And another view. I told ya "everyone in the family loves it", that includes Alice, our gander! (Or is he looking at my toes?)

Congratulations Shoe! You've got some beautiful blooms there and plenty of them. Nice job.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Very nice! instead of a thumbnail shot you got a toenail shot! LOL

Way to go Shoe. Does this mean we have you addicted to brugs and you will be visiting with us a lot? Sure hope so.

Congratulations Shoe! Beautiful. Thats how I walk around outside too!

Cute feet. LOL.

Cala's a sweetheart, isn't she. Probably not Jutner Orange though since it's the same as Dr. Suess.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

So pretty! LOL Liz! I love Alice. I would love to have lots of animals running around.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

there's not an ugly or plain brug. every one is beautiful

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Jim, that is a great brug. definately a keeper.

(Zone 6a)

Very pretty brug.....but I am thinking it may really be a Dr. Seuss; it has serrated leaves. Looks just like the one in my front yard that was labeled as a Jutner Orange:)

They are very fragrant and bloom in flushes about every four weeks.

HAH...thanks folks! (Love the "toenail" comment, Liz!)
So a Dr. Seuss is the same as a J Orange? Or the two are easily confused? Cala didn't send me anything marked Seuss;had magic marker on each cutting so that's what I wrote on the plant tag. She also sent a Suavolian White (sp?). It is in the ghouse blooming now.

I'll be peeking in here from time to time...love those fancy ones ya'll have...doubles and such. (But also love my Orange Suess or whatever it is!)

Thanks for the attention ya'll! You're the best!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

she'll be here tonight, but yes, that's Dr Seuss. long story, short answer:)

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Shoe they just keep budding and blooming. I got the JO also from Cala. Now they say it is Dr. Suess. I don't care what you call it as long as it's in my garden. Real nice photos.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Yep, it's a Seuss, I bought it labeled as Jutners Orange, and that's what it is. I still can't see how you walk around barefoot, what if you step on an accorn? What if that goose decides to peck your toe? I don't have any fancy colored doubles, but I can start you a double white.

Crossville, TN

Psssttt...Shoe...I have 2 potted up! Will give you a run for your money next year!! heheheh Jo

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Okay dokey...gonna re-label it Dr Seuss. Sure like it whatever name it goes by tho! (Right now am debating on whether to dig it up b4 frost or cut it to ground level and mulch it very thickly. What do ya'll do?)

Okay, you're on, Jo! Altho I haven't much experience w/Brugs I sure got an eyefull of what they can look like/be like when I was one of the Brug Judges on last yrs contest! Hang on to your hats!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh Susie! You broke Shoe too??? LOL At the rate you guys are addicting people, Dave will have to change the name of the site to Dave's Brug world with some other plants. LOL
Shoe you did very well with your Brug!! What a beauty!

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Thanks BS. And by the way, see the tall skinny plant to the left of the Brug? Thats from the seeds of the Leo you sent me! I thought when it starts to bloom it'll look cool next to the brug! (It's just now getting its green bumpythorny things...buds?)

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Well I'll be! I do see the Leo there! Looks like you are on your way! My flowers just started opening up today. Nice toes and goose in the other pic too. LOL How did I miss those before??? Giggle

Hampstead, NC(Zone 8a)
