Great pic, Baa. I wish these fellows would grow well here in Seward, but I think it's never warm enough for them, and all this rain tends to rot them out. I really love their stature.

The woolly leaved plants don't do well in our garden, this one will be lifted for winter. I love them though and just have to touch the leaves *G* My favourite is V. nevadense which has thick wool, they have to have the seeds collected and sown each time too as the self sowns never do well (thanks for reminding me I might just get away with it if I pop a few seed in a pot this week!)

Yes, I love those wooly ones, as well, but they crown rot easily here. I've got to find a place to winter over these marginal plants in pots, but all my spots are either to warm or too cold.
