Last Rosamond

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

For a while. She lost a lot of limbs in the wind. This one lonely bloom right in the top was too pretty to pass up.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Very pretty. It is hard to beat the pinks. Does Rosemond have a fragrance?

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Hey Cala, I just rememberd that I am on the Pink Level. I hope you know what that means and get to it!!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Yes Kell, and yours and JT's are rooting now. They broke out in the wind and were still green, so had to root them. This is the o ne I bought for Pink Beauty, but it's way to big to be that. I can't remember if it's fragrant, it's 10 ft tall so not much opportunity to smell!!

Cala, I'm wondering which mine is. the flower is sooo big, how in the heck do I tell? cause I'm going to need one or the other, but don't know which one?

TiG, is the flower huge and the plant very tall?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

yes

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

tiG, I'm wondering if we don't have Rosamond. Mine looks like yours, with a little less curl. My plant was probably 7 ft. tall and fairly wide too. Whatever it is, I like it.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

oh I love it!!! but having used the pollen would like to know for sure. and of course I want the other!! LOL!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

have been checking monikas threads and measuring my flower. from top of calyx to bottom of flowers is 13 - 13 1/2". but newer flowers are smaller, it's much cooler now. I don't know which one I have now. The plant is about 8-9' from a cutting this winter. I know the seedlings will be gorgeous, whichever, but wish there was a way to know for sure.

tiG, it's beautiful. Is this the one that was confused with Adora or am I thinking of something else?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Talk about a giant Y, tiG! What a perfect pink!!! Too fantastic to contemplate! Where did you buy this one from Cala?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Oh, they are all pretty.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Mine is much too big to be Pink Beauty, the flower is pinker than it looks in the picture, and I love it's huge blooms. Monika is pretty sure mine is Rosamond. I have a cutting of Pink Beauty from JT, but it had a rough journey and I'm trying my best to save it.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

cala, i'll send you a pink beauty with ms frannie..... have a cutting i'll stick in soil today. maybe ms frannie can compare mine and yours for us!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Cala, have you posted a side picture of yours??

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

TiG, I'm not sure. I'll try to find one, but my ISP is being a pain tonight.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)
