This is Bob who was a feral cat for 6 years that we know of. DW fed him by leaving food outside but we never tried to "tame" him because he was so wary and all the experts said it coldn't be done. Then when we retired, 3 years ago, and were set to spend winters in Florida, DW refused to leave him without a source of sustenance. So many cans of sardines and a mountain of patience later I finally got him to trust me enough to come into the house. Trip to the vet for shots, de-fleaing and (ouch) castration and Voila! Wrong again experts.
