I got this plant 3 or 4 years ago in trade from a very generous person,it was already quite large when I got it....but never got a bud or a bloom
Now it has a bud and its just sitting there....not opening....for the past week
I'm going NUTS!!!
I'll need you guys to ID it when it opens
Well, it is obviously a hibiscus. Hope it opens soon. Looks like it will be a pretty one.
oh its a hibiscus,but its driving me crazy,i'v gone to look at it 6 times today,not even a petal movement,nothing,is it normal for it to take a week to open like this?
WOW! Looks like a big orange one? I have a large orange
one, two bloomed, took a week, one fell off before it bloomed. Has been 60's here, 40's at night. This is not good temps for hibiscus.
The tag says double orange/yellow/red....I'm dying here....still nothing!

You need to buy a headlamp for your next trip outside. Ok it feels like forever--Is it or isn't it? And aren't you persistant Hibiscus in NY. Oh yeah Logees has that huge Lemon tree in a greenhouse up your way. You are the greenhouse goddess(yuck! sorry sounds like salad dressing) I think I've had enough tonight.

There is some movement tonite,some of the petals have opened a tiny bit.....
