pet me while I have supper. ...

I'm wondering if this is just a habit Furball has developed...

Furball likes to be pet, and with both hands, while she's eating. If I'm in the room, she'll wander towards her food dish, then look at me.... if I come over and pet her, she'll eat quite a bit more than if I wander over, then walk away. We've both grown to like this new habit, because it's a good time for her for a full body scratch and massage, and I also get to enjoy petting her.

Does anybody else's pet like to be petted while they're eating?
