i do not know how to begin helping u, i am not familiar to what Kaki is????

but if u are referring to pomegranate, check this url ... http://www.uga.edu/fruit/pomegran.htm , http://www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/morton/pomegranate.html#Propagation

MaVie it has nothing to do with the pomegranate *LOL*

the Kaki ( well I hope this is the real name) is a orange fruit about the size of an apple. the inside is juicy and it has lots of oval (kind of slippery) pieces of fruit in it.
they taste sweet and when they are ripe the skin rippes open a little.

trying to describe this fruit (when having a craving for them) is really hard.

I try to do a search again (maby in italian) thats what we called the fruit at home.

Found a site in german, but there is a picture of the fruit.

now I only have to try to find seeds *LOL*

sorry been too busy browsing the forums. u mean the Japanese persimmons??? i buy them, eat them all the time. one of my favorites. next time i buy some, if not mistaken this is the season for them, i will save u some seeds.

here are some English version url's ... http://www.streetside.com/plants/floridata/ref/d/diosp_ka.htm , http://www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/morton/japanese_persimmon.html ... i haven't reviewed these sites. i do not know if they can be grown from seeds. but will surely save u some. lmk. i have seen a gal. plant sold in Los Angeles Chinatown nursery store... too expensive. asking price was $35.00! too stiff for my meager budget.

MaVie, yep thats it.

we don't have them here.
Sometimes I find some in the city, but I almost never go there.

I would love to get some seeds if you find some.

thanks a bunch :)
