Does this variety appear to be a faster grower than Peaches and Cream...I'm interested to know and thanks.

Hi Joydie,
This one is a vigorous grower.
My understanding is Snowbank was developed from Sunset/Maya.
Sunset/Maya has always been much more vigorous over P&C for me.

Wow I can harly wait to see this one bloom. Take pictures during its growth time so we can see. Thanks Abutilon.

Alice,
What color is the flower?

Abutilon,
i just pruned off shoots from Peaches and Creme for the second time now. the shoots grow fat and thick very quickly. I thought if I kept the shoots off it would grow faster, but it just seems to want to put out more shoots even where I've pruned them before. Is this your experience with P&C ?

Glory,
Flower is supposed to be a large size and peach colour.

Joydie,
Some people have luck with P&C, but I have not. Maybe my climate ..I don't know.
Or maybe just my plant .. or me? lol
I had my P&C three years. It grew slow and every winter it died to the ground and slow to come back in spring.
When it did it was all shoots )o:
Just this month while looking good, I gave to a friend who has been wanting P&C and lives in a warmer climate than me.
I have been afraid I will lose. So hope she will be able to grow it better than me.

In my zone 6, Sunset/Maya has done very well for me.
Snowbank is coming along well so far, too.

Abutilon,
I'm convinced its just going to grow into a shrub and on its own sweet time. No amount of pruning is going to encourage growth into the main shoot. I'll bring it indoors over the winter and see how it does.

Joydie,
One of the gals in CA had a pix of P&C growing very well.
Kell, maybe?
But it was the BEST specimen P&C I have seen.
Whoever that was can give you better advice than me.
Good luck (o:

This is a picture of P & C blooming last April. Has bloomed twice since then and is covered in buds again. Came from Liz.
So have patience and let it be a shrub if it wants to be.
