Big Pearlmutt X for Monika
Those look like big leaves. I can't wait to see the bloom.
One has a little bud that I noticed yesterday. The leaves are soft and velvety.
Very pretty . . can't wait to see the bloom.
I am very excited, Cala, to see the first bloom of this cross. I cant help but I still believe, that it has something to do with radiation. So many crippled seeds in one cross is not normal.
I thought something might have happened to the seeds, there were so many seedlings that were so weak to start with, they had the odd clustered leaves and just weren't strong enough to make it. That one little odd plant is still going though.
My Big x is fine - has a few buds, is about 7 ft tall. It's the Perlmutt x Ecuador Pink that is strange.
Liz, that's what these are Pearlmutt X EP. I meant to say "this is a big plant of Pearlmutt X" can't fix the title once its posted though. My White Pearl X Big is HUGE, over 8 ft tall.
The Perlmutt seed pod took a long time, I mentioned this in earlier post.
Cala - I should have figured that out - it's still early here - I need some caffeine. LOL
Early???
9AM - not really early - but my day doesn't start until I have coffee. LOL
monika, were the aurea x v. candida seeds your cross? I have a bud.
Me too - aren't the leaves huge? I also have aurea x aurea, again big leaves. These ones are actually tied to the railings in case they blow over. LOL
No, tiG, Hannover seeds. I dont make such a cross unless I expect something special. Too many aurea types in many crosses.
thanks:)
