Just my luck!!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

As most of you know, Isidore is on her way. They arent sure if she will reach hurricane strenghth before she hits land. If not they are expecting 65mph when she does land.
The gaming commision did a mandantory shut down of all casinos, schools are closed, roads are flooded, truck is packed to head over to dads, chain saw is sharpened and bill is stuck in san antonio, blah blah...
The ONE thing out of everything that could possibly happen that is really going to irritate the mess out of me is if this darn storm blows over Ecquador pink. She has probably 30 buds on her, most have dropped and the color is forming. I have been waiting with bated breath for the first bud to open. She is my favorite.
Take my home (i have insurance and photo albums go with me), let a tree fall on my car...just LEAVE HER ALONE, lol
Man, I got it bad.
We're staying here until about 6 and then heading over to my parents. We live in a mobile home and i will not take the chance of my family being at risk by staying here.

Save the Brug!!!Dig her up and take her to saftey!!!!

Ms Jen, sure hope you and your family are ok. Pot up EP and take her with you.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hang in there Jen. I'm certainly saying a prayer for everyone's safety, even EP. Things can be replaced, but lives can't. If you lose brugs, we can help you get them started again. Be Safe!!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Jen, will have you and your family and everyone else down there in my prayers. Safety is #1 at this time.

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Stay safe. Hope it isn't real bad.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

I should stress (by an email that i got) that i was being facitious (sp) about it all. Plants at this point are the least of my concern (tell that to my neighbors that saw me in a downpoar trying to tie ep up.
2 years ago, a ts leveled her, last year we had an early freeze, this year im sure shell be gorgeous, if she can only survive the winds.
if not, ill have a gazillion cuttings of her, lol

Saint Petersburg, FL(Zone 9b)

good luck Jen hope you come out of it Ok

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

forget all the plants. u and ur family's safety is far more IMPORTANT!!! plants can always be replaced, but NOT LIVES!
if need be, there is one too many of us here to help u replace what u'll lost in plants. PLS. take care. am praying for everyone's safety that lives near or on the path of Isidore. leave the scene NOW, if u can. don't wait much longer. i've been keeping a close watch of that typhoon on CNN news. Praying for UR and EVERYONE'S safety. God Bless..

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Ditto everyones advice. You can always get new Brugs. Better to head for safety and don't worry about the EP.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I have not heard from my sister............she might have evacuated her home also. Sad what you all are facing! I hope it fizzles!!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Levity is sometimes what keeps us from going insane. Good luck Jen.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Just checking in, we're all fine and so is EP. I came home to 1 small tree branch down.
Somehow, the bulk of it missed us. We didnt lose power, nor phone. I hope everyone else fared as well as we did.
I heard on the news that woolmarket got quite a bit worse than we did, so ill call gloria to see how she is. Ill let yall know

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Jen, I'm so relieved!! I've been so worried about you all. where is Gloria??

Good new Ms. Jen. Hope Gloria is ok too.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

How much rain did you guys get ?They are predicting 3-5 inches in 12 hours when it gets here tomorrow....

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

The rain was the worst part! We got really lucky, I have some stuff down, but not anything major; lightening hit my phone line, the computer line, but all is fixed now. Anybody hear from Just me Lisa? I think she is in Thibodeauz, which is really on the bad part of this storm.

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

Lisa is ok. Glad to hear u are ok too! Thankful everyone along the typhoon path is ok.

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

Glad to hear you are all ok. Yesterday afternoon and evening I think we were getting the worst of it. Lots of rain, but worse yet the tornadoes. We had 13 tornadoes, downded some trees, destroyed some homes and damaged a high school, but lucky nobody was hurt. We are still getting some rain and winds though. My poor flowers are looking like a war zone, but surprising none are broken so far.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I don't know how y'all didn't lose some brugs with all the rain y'all got!! We've been out staking up everything, cause they're so top heavy and the wet ground isn't holding them. and we got less than 2" !! did you all already have yours staked??

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

Glad everyone made it ok. Dee, the torn - a - doos scare me more than the hurricanes!

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

MSJen, I am so glad you are ok and safe also Lisa too.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Has anyone heard from Gingerlily? She was close to some of those tornados.
