If you heard a loud roar, it was not the hurricane but my screams. I lost almost all of the brug photos that were taken over the years, which took me hundreds of hours to take. I am sick!!! Oh barb that is awful...now if you go to pdb and photos on DG you can find your postings of pics...copy and save them...all will not be lost
You can view your own threads on here too. I know you posted a lot of great photos right on the forum.

I checked my posts on dave's and only found a few photos.
Monika, While I was away, my cd disk with the photos ended up with one jpg left on it. Have spent all morning going through files and emails to see if some can be located.
You might want to check with Glory. She might have a couple. You also might want to post on the camera forum. Gardenwife is very knowlegable about the puter & camera stuff. She may be able to tell you how to save them from your disk.... if they can be saved.
Barbara, I am so sorry to hear about this. I cannot understand how they could be gone from your cd disk but I know that things can go wrong. The only pictures that I have saved for reference are from DG's and that would be of no help to you. I know how awful you must feel but I would find a professional computer person and have them look at the cd. There could possibly be something that they could do. I use to always back up my 1.44 diskettes that had special things on them because sometimes they could go bad. I never thought about something happening to a cd. Now I am going to back up all my special cd's. I sure hope somehow your pictures can be recovered.

Are you sure you have the right disc? How could all but 1 disappear? You must be so upset, I do not blame you!! Your photos were so fantastic!
Just an idea, how far back can Dave go?
I already did a search on my id and got all the photos that were available.
What I was getting at is that maybe he has backups going back further than what is online.
Barb, I routinely save many pics from on the forum for future reference...so I may have several you need.I'll check tonight or tomorrow. :-)
Gosh Barb, I had some of your pictures on my puter, but when I got the new one, I erased everything from the old puter to give it away. Wish I hadn't done that now, but I'm sure we are all talking about the same pictures here anyway. What a shame. I hope you find a way to get them back.
I can really kicked myself for not putting the ones you had up in webshots on my computer at work. I am so sorry, you take such great photos!

Oh Barb, I'm so sorry. I don't have any of your pics, but talk to Gardenwife, she retreived(sp?) some that her computer had eaten.
Thanks everyone. My hero, Kyle sent ment me almost 20 of my photos. Now I will start photographing again. Isidore beat everything to pieces so there will not be anything for a while. We got about 10" of rain and some wind. We live 90 miles from coast.
