Well, it looks like Isadore is on the move again and is coming this way. Since this is not a powerful storm but covers a large area we will be getting lots and lots of rain from it. We have put everything up that was possible...just keeping my fingers crossed that my GH will be ok. Let y'all know more later.
PJ was here for a couple of day but we weren't able to get together at my house.....I did however see her at the Beau.
We tried to get to New Orleans today but the traffic was awful so we truned around and came home.
Jessie is still here and boy are we having fun. I think I'll keep her when her Mom and Dad go back to San Diego....think they will miss her.
Hurricane on the move
Glory, hope everything is okay when the storm is over. I bet they would miss Jessie before they got out the door!!
Glory, I hope everything turns out okay. I wish we could take some of the rain, but wouldn't want to go through what you might have to experience. Keep us informed and I hope that all of you Dave's Garden people down that way will be safe.
we got rain from it all day today hope it doesn't get as strong as it was
we had lots of rain today too, rain 80-100% chance through wednesday. i bet they would miss Jessie. I loved it when my kids stayed with my mom, and they always had a ball. seems they always lived right next to six flags, in texas, georgia and missouri.
Glad your ok, Hope everyone else is fairing as well. Still praying for yall!

I have been watching the story for the past several days and I have been concerned about the whole coast line but at the moment, it does look like it is heading for you Gloria. I sure hate to see it go in anywhere but I guess all anyone can do is prepare.
Lets' hope it blows itself out before getting to you. Do you need rain Gloria, I imagine you will be getting that.
Will have all of you down there in my prayers. I am sure they would miss Jessie too. They are such a joy. I get my 2 this weekend. You all take care down there.
Hope it loses all it's strength or turns before it gets to you Glory.
Gloria, I am sure you are having a ball with Jessie, and her mom and dad. Wish I could get over and meet her; I am sure she is just a little doll. You are gonna miss her, but you will see her again real soon, and when she gets a little older, she may want to spend a month with you in the summer, like mine do, and you will just love it ( my grandkids parents love it, too!) Give Jess a great big hug and tell her I just can't wait til I meet her! And her Mom and Dad , too.
they say florida would need 12 or so hurricanes to get the water tables back up, looks like we'll get a really good soaking the next couple of days.
Thinking of you and hope it isn't bad. I know the grandkid feeling. I had my oldest, that just turned 12, living with us for about 4 months when he was about 7-8 months old. They moved across town, about 4 miles and I cried like a baby. A big 6 ft 6 in baby. Somehow they are more precious than anything else. I think when we were raising our kids we were so busy making a living and keeping food on the table that we didn't have time to enjoy the kids as much as we do the grandkids.
I hope you are fine Glory. My sister today told me, she and her family may have to leave tomorrow for her hotel reservation in Memphis Tennessee to get out of harms way.
Georgiaredclay, you are so right; when our kids were little we were more concerned about feeding and clothing them and general maintenance, like teeth, grades, manners, health, and just did not take out time to just enjoy.
Well shoot, the tornadoes have already started. Have had 3 here this afternoon. Looks like it is gonna be a bumpy ride tonight!!
Hang on Dee. Will be thinking about all of you and watching the weather reports closely.
Hey Dee and Arlene, why do we always get the northeast quadrant. How long can you tread water?
lol, JT i can float for a long time and will NEVER develop hyperthermia in cold water, lol. lots of rain, not much sunshine. you guys stay suff, Dee i hope you don't lose your power. we haven't had a real cane come through here in years and years, last one sat off the coast of cedar key for 4 days, 16 years ago and she was just aggravating cause she wouldn't move, no damage here.
